Thank you very much to the Nanton’s – Nick, Kristina, Brock and Bowen for the great gifts for Kendal. It was very fitting for them to buy Kendal her “Gator” mobile. It even plays a lullaby version of “Orange and Blue”. And thanks to Jen for allowing me to register for the mobile, even though it won’t match the rest of the nursery (I told her Gator stuff goes go with everything…).
Jen and I had a very nice, yet tiring (Jen is nearly asleep as I type this at 9:30) Christmas day. We woke up at 8:00 so we could have our own Christmas morning together before the rest of the day began. We headed out at 9:30 to meet up with her parents, sister and husband, so we could have our second Christmas shift with them. At 11:00 her Grandmother, Aunt and Cousin joined us for our third Christmas shift, and finally my parents came over at 12:00 for our fourth and final Christmas shift.
Kendal especially made out well. Papa Jack and Grandma Linda bought Kendal her crib bedding and accessories. Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Bryan also bought Kendal her bouncer, and a nice assortment of clothes. Thanks very much.
It was a great Christmas, and is hard to believe that this time next year we will have a 9-month old baby girl with us. Thanks to everyone for all of the great presents for us and Kendal.
Only 95 days to go…
This weekend Jen and I got a nice surprise when the FedEx man dropped off a package on Saturday. Thank you very much Brian and Sara for the highchair. Of course, Jen and I had to open and assemble it immediately. It is now sitting ready in our livng room 
. I’m sure it will get a lot of use over the next few years. Thanks again.
Thank you very much to Tina who sent Baby Burg a giftcard to IKEA. The new IKEA in Orlando just opened a few weeks back, and Jen and I have not been brave enough to visit yet. I’m sure when we do we will find some great things for her new room. Thanks again Tina.

Thank you very much Heather and Steve for these cute plates for the baby. I’m sure baby burg will be speaking French in no time. They may even get additonal use as you know how Jen feels about her food touching .

Jen sent me to Babies-R-Us (which is a pretty scary place) to pickup a present for Kristina’s baby shower and I could not resist picking this onsie. I could not believe how many things we are going to need to buy in the next few months. Clearly there is much to learn.
On the day we found out that we were pregnant, I ordered a special little something for Daddy & Baby – 3 little monkey onesies! I knew they would make Daddy smile.
And today, Aunt Lindsay came by the office for a secret rendezvous in the parking garage to give us some gifts for Baby. Surprise, surprise — Aunt Lindsay found Baby cutie booties with Stars!
(Ohhhh, and by the way, it was really good cheese, and it wasn’t my fault they didnt have what I wanted! I had to find just the right cheese!)
