Saturday was a busy day. First I went to Laura’s baby shower (she is 35 weeks…), and then I met up with Kendal & Bobby at the park for Morgan’s first Birthday party.
It was a beautiful day. They had baby swings at the park, so Kendal got to try swinging for the first time. She really seemed to like it, even though she leaned so far forward she was staring at the ground!
Kendal and I hosted a Lake Mary Moms Club playgroup at our house today. We had a full house: Mel & Emma Grace; Amy & Ava; Jennifer & Connor; Maria, Juliane, Christopher & Luke; Ingrid & Leaf and Kristin & Kalie. It was fun having everyone over!
I also introduced a new sippy cup (Jaclyn gave these to us, but we never used them until Amy raved about them), Kendal LOVES her knew cup. She drank SO much water today!
We had been trying to plan a trip to the zoo for a while now, but it seemed like everytime we made plans it suddenly got cold! But we finally made it.
The girls all seemed to enjoy the “petting zoo” potion of the zoo, but I am not to sure they even noticed the other animals. We had a nice snack break by the monkeys and crawled around by the elephants. It was a beautiful day, and we had lots of fun! It’s hard to believe how big the girls are getting!
Kendal’s first time eating spaghetti – at Family Dinner Night at Mimi’s – she thought the noddles were SO funny on her face!!!
Like most babies, Kendal puts everything in her mouth — except Frog. Somehow she knows that Frog is Bella’s. Of all the dog toys, Bella only has eyes for Frog. She loves to carry Frog all over the house and play fetch. Kendal has picked up on this and she grabs Frog just to give it back to Bella. Bella is notorious for knocking Frog off the couch so Bobby or I will pick it up for her. Last night, she taught Kendal to give it back to her on the couch and this morning, Bobby caught it on camera.
Everytime we go to a birthday party, Kendal get sick! Last weekend, we went to Kali Patterson’s 2nd birthday and sure enough Tuesday Kendal came down with a cold. And then she was so kind as to pass it along to me. Ahhh sick again.
Kendal’s favorite show is Mickey Mouse Club House, she grins so big when she sees Mickey come on TV. At the end of the show, she always joins Mickey and the gang for the hot dog dance…
