Gator Jam November 30, 2008Print This Post

We couldn’t wait to take Kendal to her first Gator game. While we didn’t make it up to the Swamp for football season, we wouldn’t miss taking Kendal to see the basketball team when they came to play in Orlando! We were so excited to take her to her first Gator game. All decked out in Orange and Blue, Kendal was so cute. Since the game was at nap time, she didn’t want to sit in our seat for long. So we spent most of the second half walking around the arean, but we still had a great time! Go Gators!

Thanksgiving at the Ranch November 27, 2008Print This Post

Thanksgiving at the Ranch has been a family tradition since I was a baby, it was especially special for me to cerebrate Kendal’s first Thanksgiving at the Ranch with the whole family. It was a typical Thanksgiving with lots of family and food, truck rides around the ranch and lots of time to hang out. Kendal loves to be outside, so being at the Ranch really seemed to suit her.

We spent Thanksgiving at the Ranch, and then we spent the night at Lindsay and Bryan’s so we could save some time on the trip back out there on Friday. Kendal was the center of attention the whole time. She was held by everyone, and loved every moment of it.

I got to play cowgirl when a cow wandered into the fenced in house area on our watch. Ole Bessy wasn’t too happy about me shooing her out!

PremiereTrade Thanksgiving Print This Post

Mimi was busy packing for the Ranch, so Kendal got to come to the PremiereTrade Thanksgiving pot luck. Her favorite Thanksgiving gift was a turkey from Mimi that gobbles when it is pressed. She laughs every time it gobbles and she loves to chew on its face.

Sippy Cup November 21, 2008Print This Post

The new challenge we are beginning is learning to drink from a sippy cup. Right from the start she likes the idea of the cup, her problem seems to be tipping it back to get the water to the sippy. She does better lying down. So far, she just gets water in her cup. She only takes a few sips then she is done, but at least she is interested and gets the general idea. I usually give her the sippy to try after a yummy snack of puffs and yogurt melts.

I have gotten really into making hair bows for Kendal. My latest creation was a Thanksgiving Turkey. Doesn’t she look adorable with it in her hair!
