What’s New February 12, 2008
Jen and I have been slacking a bit on our blog updates, so I thought I would try to catch up.
Everything is going well. Jen is getting more uncomfortable by the day, but her doctor assures us that everything is good, and this is normal (sorry Jen :) ).
We did finish our 5 week Early Child Care/Lamaze class that we had been taking with our friends Lori and RJ. They are also expecting a little girl, and are due about two weeks before us. The class was actually better than I was expecting, although it did make it clear that we knew even less than we thought.
Yesterday, after Jen’s 33 week checkup, we went by Winnie Palmer hospital to pre-register for delivery. We are also scheduled to take a tour of the hospital tonight. It was the first time Jen and I had been to Winnie, which is a women and children’s only hospital. The place is pretty amazing, especially from the outside. Every room is a private suite with amenities such as wireless internet, flat-panel TVs, and Murphy beds for dad. It even has a concierge, so if you want to order private meals, upgraded linens, etc, you can. Not too shabby.
Other than that, just trying to both mentally and physically prepare for Kendal’s arrival. Nursery is setup, apart from a few decorative items. We both can’t wait.
Only 45 days to go….
