Painting…. Ugh December 30, 2007
I can officially say I don’t like to paint. Prior to this project, I had only painted two single walls in my life. This is hopefully the last room I will ever have to paint. The whole thing was just a long process. Kendal, if you read this one day, remember what I did for you

Picking out paint colors as Jen wrote about earlier was a long process in itself, as the paint colors we brought home from Lowes looked nothing like they were supposed to. There is a picture below of the samples on the wall. Both of the first two were suppose to be in the “tan” family of colors, and the first one came out coral, and the second came out “elephant gray”.
Overall, the project took an entire day. I’m very happy with how it came out (and fortunately Jen was too, but good thing as it was not going to get changed), and I’m glad I did it myself.
