18 Week Update October 30, 2007
Jen woke up early Monday morning with pain in her right abdomen. Her doctor wanted her to come in to be safe, so we went in Monday morning. The doctors seem to think she is experiencing round-ligament pain, which is pretty normal, but we are going back in Wednesday morning for a follow-up appointment. Fortunately, she woke up today and is feeling much better, which rules out anything more serious.
They did do an ultrasound and the baby is doing great, with a heart rate of 150. The ultrasound tech did get an “underneath” view, and gave us her guess of the sex (which I’m not sharing 
), but we will know for sure in two weeks.
