Telling my Grandparents September 3, 2007
My parents as well as my sister, husband and the kids all vent to Vineland, NJ this weekend to visit my Grandparents. Jen and I sent a card and a picture from the ultrasound with my parents. On Saturday night, we called them and had my grandmother open the card while we were on the phone. At first I’m not sure she quite understood when she saw the ultrasound picture, but once she read the card she and my grandfather were very excited.
I spoke to her again on Sunday, and she told me that the shock had worn off, and how excited she was for Jen and I. She can’t believe her “little Bobby” is going to be a dad.
Neither can I
