We Are Pregnant!!!! July 19, 2007
We could not be more excited! I want to shout it from the roof tops, but I also feel like we should wait. Fingers crossed that I don’t just blurt it out to someone!
The BFP (Big Fat Positive – I am learning lingo already) first thing in the am on July 18. Love the digital thing, no faint lines, just a clear “Pregnant!” I had been having a lot of nausea since 7/13, but given my propensity for nausea, I wasn’t sure. Took a test that evening, but I knew it was too soon, and it was negative.
By Wed I was sooo nauseas, Bobby and I came home at lunch to take a test. But the stupid test didn’t work! (The timer thing never started, indicating a defective test.) I was CRAZY mad. Called the 800#, and they wanted to know if I wanted it replaced or if I wanted to wait 4 hours to try again. I tried telling her I just wanted an answer, but I knew that was useless, so I asked for a replacement.I ended up waiting over night to take a new test. Deciding that it was more likely to be positive by waiting over night anyway, and it was!!! (Took a second one this morning, just to be sure, but by now I already am.)
Made the Dr appt on the way to work yesterday – Aug 9. Now my biggest frustration is trying to figure out a due date. I put in different scenarios and come up with different dates – from March 22 – April 8! Can’t wait to go to the Dr to find out what they say!
Either way, I am at least 4 weeks Pregnant!!! And today – BLOATED!
